Some time ago you did a list of must get Neo-Soul albums, i really need a list again, i'm gonna make sure that these gets imported to Denmark to be avaiable in the shop where I'm working.
The Maysa thing you posted a year ago was awesome too!
Jeff Bradshaw - bone deep ( just superb)
roy hargrove RH factor - hard groove
jill scott, all 3 albums
Antoinique (erik tribbett drums)
erykah badu, baduizm and mamas gun ( poogie bell I think)
n'dambi -tunin up and cosignin
allison crockett (terreon gully drums)
rachelle ferrell( lil john roberts and another drummer)
Frank McComb -all albums! ( rocky bryant on first album( what a drum sound!) and steve harvey on second).
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That's so true. In the meantime I have decided to plug in my headphones - selfish of me, I know. Thanks again for sharing this. I think it's moments like these that make me love this place. Nothing like discovering a new artist by chance and if the drumming is to my liking, well even better!Originally posted by moosetication:
Absolutely. Close your eyes, and see if you can get through it without nodding your head and grinning like a loon.
It's like that "eating cream crackers without licking your lips" thing. It can't be done.

That Lee Ritenour'ish solo is like the Cream on the top of the Cake
Nice one klemme. Btw, the jeff bradshaw album is erik tribbett as well, some really great drumming in it.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Jeff is smokin' without a doubt. Just two weeks ago I got to see him live with Jill Scott. Had no idea he was in her band!Originally posted by Rudy_Ment:

Suspiria, I would kill to see jill scott AND JB together. I bet that was a fantastic gig.
Here's a couple more, one of her doing d'angelos brown sugar, and a swinger.

I always enjoy when you post new music, Rudy. The only problem is you're making me go broke buying albums.
Cheers rudy , fantastic stuff. I tried to focus on the drumming but felt a magnetic pull towards the vocals.(very rare for a voacalist to do that).she reminded me of a female stevie wonder. the phrasing, intonation and stuff if you know what i mean. thanks again - oh yea , drums are super cool .1:59 Great setup by the drummer Ha 2:25 , she seems to put a um what's her name, the lady who did gold fingaaaaa- slipped my mind - on the tip of my tongue...Shirely Bassey...yep , a little bassey in there. Wow to all he players. Sounds like a board recording to me , love the way she flattens the notes and adds alittle vib.
